Indian National Airline (INA) Market.  Anil (mission president's driver) and Sister Hodges

INA Market - Vegetables
Eggs couldn't get any fresher!

They have never heard of "free range chickens!"  Talk about a head bobble.
And . . . they don't pluck but just skin the chicken right in front of you (taking off feathers and skin together) in these obviously FDA approved facilities.  Could it get any fresher?

Fabric and sewing shop at INA Market

Friday Sisters Peck and Hodges invited me to come along with them to INA (Indian National Airways)  Market where we found all sorts of fruits, vegetables, poultry, clothes, bedding, jewelry, you name it.  I found some bright dishcloths to make up into scripture bags for my Valiant Primary class.  Saturday evening I attended an informal sewing class given by one of the members who is a professional seamstress who helped me figure out how to cut cloths to make the bags.  I had six of them done by 11 last night.  Just in time for Primary today.

Jeanette's Primary Class with scripture bags she made for them -Ishika, Vivek & Aman (brothers)

I was so excited to see Vivek (11) and his little brother Aman (8) at church today!  They are Hindu and were baptized three weeks ago (parents are not members).  They moved from their home (a shack on the top of building below a radioactive transmission tower) to a better place this week.  Their new place is about twice as far from church as their old one, but the boys made it to church anyway-walked all the way.  They are 2/3 of my Valiant class. Today we learned about the prophet Moses.  It went better than I had hoped and they loved the scripture bags.
