Wednesday morning we delivered school notebooks to the Jain School in Old Delhi down by the wholesale bazaar. It was a beautiful day so we decided to stop by the Red Fort and check out the five new museums down there. The museums are housed in the old British barracks built after the 1857 Rebellion in the background to the left and focus on India's struggle for independence. One of the five in a beautiful art museum. In the late afternoon we met Patrizia Cerroni, an Italian modern dancer and her friend Sukrita Paul Kumar, a poet from Delhi, at the India International Center. As we left for home, we were dazzled by this beautiful evening sky. It was the clearest, we have seen since arriving here. Thursday we celebrated Holi, the Indian spring festival, with the missionaries in the vacant lot beside the church compound.
