DIWALI
Wednesday, 8 November, was Diwali, the biggest holiday of the year for Hindus and most Indians. Besides worshiping at temples and in their
homes, they light lamps and set off firecrackers. We had the Skidmores, another Senior Couple,
over for dinner along with John Abana, a Nigerian brother in our ward. His stories of life in Delhi were
fascinating. He joined the church in
2014 and bore the sweetest testimony of how the Gospel has given him peace and
direction in his life. He says the Holy
Ghost keeps him safe telling him where and where not to go, and what and what
not to do.
