Weeks ending 16 December & 23 December 2018

Two weeks of much activity, but not many photographs!

Woman construction worker at Prya Market - carries the pan held in her hand balanced on her head (see wrapping on her head used to help balance the load) with a load of sand or bricks.  Always so colorful even in the fields.  Saris rule.

Bengaluru Stake Center - Jeanette by a giant poinsettia.

A couple of pasty-white zombies with a wonderful family in Bengaluru -
L-R Santosh, Hursts, Asha & Jonas Akula & their two children.

Graduation/Christmas party for Chin Refugees (from Myanmar) which we sponsored along with the Jesuit Refugee Service.  These people (primarily Christian refugees) are welcome neither in their country nor India.  The press has highlighted the plight of the Rohingas, also Myanmar refugees, while the Chin's story is basically untold.

 Chin refugee lady and child.

 Chin women in native dress.

Birthday cake for Sister Hurst, supplied by the elders:  Muthyam, investigator, House, JJH, Cook & Sekar at Malviya Nagar following English class.

Jeanette's birthday flowers and Christmas cards.

Light The World:  Videos shown in two malls for entire month of December.  This is Epicuria Nehru Place which consists only of places to eat-a food mall.  Sisters  Thunderaj, Rajan, new? & Govindaraj with table tents.  LTW video in the background.
