Week Ending 3 March 2019
It has been a slower, more "regular" week. Mostly we caught up with tasks and made plans from our desks. These are all part of our weekly routines
Udayan Girls, where we spend an hour or two each Tuesday. Here they are forming letters. If you can't tell, this is an "A."
On the way to the market - small boys playing in their father's trike-truck. So smiley! These are used everywhere to transport everything. This one is for heavy-duty hauling. You can tell by the size of the rear wheels, usually they are regular bicycle size.
This and the next few photos are from the Wednesday Night market held about a block or two from our apartment. So much food, spices, clothes, jewelry, you name it, it can be found here.
Spinach!
Onions, potatoes & tomatoes!
Papaya, eggplant, beans, . . .
And, of course, the ever-present cow rummaging through the ever-present garbage!
Jeanette proselyting with Sisters Gobindaraj & Rayudu
Primary party - Jeanette & Nirmala Dass. This is nearly the whole Primary - but only four showed the next day for Sunday classes.
Malviya Nagar Ward farewell for Kundan (Kunal) Yadav who leaves this week to serve in the Bengaluru Mission.
