We made New Year's resolutions with the Udayan girls,

distributed Misha Jo Naturals balms

danced and had popcorn and Appy Fiz.

New Year's Day we enjoyed a music and dance concert by Vrindan, and ethno music ensemble led by tabla player Arunangshu Chaudhaury.

Thursday and Friday Nirmala Dass came over to help me finish the last of the 100 baby quilts the missionaries and stake members have made with supplies from the Church Humanitarian Center in Salt Lake City.  They are going to the government hospital in Rishikesh.

Friday afternoon we attended a convocation at the Manovikas Charitable Society school for children with learning and developmental disabilities.  They preformed that dance dressed as Rada (the girls) and Krishna (the boys, with the crowns and flutes).

I went out "finding" in Janakpuri on Friday afternoon with Sisters Rayudu and Katru.

Saturday we were invited to the annual Udayan Care Carnival, held at one of their homes in Greater Noida.  The boys and girls had a great time dancing, playing games and eating.

On Sunday we attended the Janakpuri Home Group which meets in the Five Elements Hotel.  It was small but Spirit-filled.  We loved hearing their testimonies of the Restored Gospel. Sister Rayudu and Katru are on the left.

In the afternoon we met our friend Kamal Kumar and his family at the Lalit Kala Akademi or National Academy of Art, India'ls national academy of fine arts.  Established in New Delhi in 1954 its mission is to promote the understanding of Indian art both inside and outside the country.

We  saw a show entitled "Does 2020 Matter?"  It was fun seeing the works and visiting with the artists.  This painting was done by a friend of Kamal's.

Here is Kamal.

Another mammoth sculpture of Gandhi at the Akademi.
